Ben Harris
University of York
I’m Ben, I’m in my first year of Law at the University of York. I’m very excited to become a Campus Ambassador for GHRH and impart onto others my passion for human rights and equality for all. I first heard of charity at the Human Rights Summit at Hogan Lovells and have since been extremely interested to follow up on the good work GHRH have been doing and wanted to get involved directly.
As the Diversity Officer of the York Law Society and as the LGBTQ+ Representative for Derwent College. I currently run a subcommittee of six members and have created the role of Gender Equality Representative as I know just how important equal gender representation is in law particularly. I am experienced in promoting diversity and inclusion for all, particularly in educational and professional legal settings and I’m confident this passion will transfer well into this role and can’t wait to get started!

Ammna Razzaq
Aston University
Hi everyone, my name is Ammna Razzaq. I'm an international student from Pakistan, currently in my second year studying law at Aston University and I am immensely grateful and excited to embark on a journey to serve as a Campus Ambassador for the Girls Human Rights Hub. My journey with the organisation began when I attended the Young Lawyers Symposium 2024, an experience that left a profound impact on me. I was truly inspired to see the organisation’s commitment towards empowering women to be the change they want to see in this world, urging me to contribute to their noble cause.
Whilst it is true that issues like gender inequality and lack of freedom of choice for women still exist within various societies and communities, I believe that it is our responsibility to stand up and inspire action for change. I think that every individual, regardless of their gender, deserves equal opportunities and rights and through the right resources, education, and empathy, we can work towards shaping the world into a safer and just space for all. Therefore, in my role as a Campus Ambassador, I hope to use my platform and education to challenge stereotypes, break down barriers, and empower women to fulfil their potential as leaders in their communities and beyond
